Even if you remove the religious inaccuracies and conspiracies, the historical, scientific, and art info he uses are grossly incorrect. As for Angels and Demons it was just one glorified scavenger hunt. With a tinge of "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer" creative ways to die put in. As for the antimatter thingie: (1) antimatter costs a lot to produce; a fraction of what was shown in the movie would've been trillions of dollars; thus, it is highly doubtful they harvested that much; (2) while it is true that antimatter will cancel out with matter if they touch each other, the resulting explosion given the amount shown would be nothing more than firecracker-level, based on what I read afterwards, (3) IIRC, batteries run out faster in heat, not cold (I could be remembering wrong), (4) the could've just traced the signal of the cam recording the bomb - not a hard thing to do.
