due to my incurable bibliomania, i’ve amassed more books than i have time to read them; hence, the tower of unread paperbacks on my bedside table (see above picture). lest city officials require me to get a building permit for this ever-rising structure, i’ve, after some vacillation, decided to take an indefinite respite from blogging (here in my friendster account) and allot what little free time i have these days to finishing these books.
but don’t worry, i’m a fast reader.
included in this farrago of titles are the following:
1. Complete Prose by Woody Allen
2. A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole
3. Speak, Memory by Vladimir Nabokov
4. A Box of Matches by Nicholson Baker
5. The Reader by Bernhard Schlink
6. On Chesil Beach by Ian McEwan
7. Indecision by Benjamin Kunkel
8. The Corrections by Jonathan Franzen
9. The Eyre Affair by Jasper Fforde
10. Further Tales of the City by Amistaud Maupin
11. Colors Insulting to Nature by Cintra Wilson
12. Snobs by Julian Fellows
so… i’ll just blog when i blog. in case you miss my writings (a remote possibility, as if i have regular readers), there’s always my archives to peruse. don’t worry though, i regularly check my friendster account for some messages.
